2 Ways to Get Beach Hair Without Hitting the Beach!

john masters organics Sea Mist Sea Salt Spray With Lavender

Sea Mist Sea Salt Spray With Lavender
First way: Salt spray-
Using salt spray to create waves is pretty simple. You’ll have to experiment to find the method that works best for your hair, but you should spray a little (seriously – less is more, especially for girls who already have super thick hair) onto wet or damp hair, and then cup some ends in your hand and scrunch up to your roots. Either let it air dry or use a diffuser, and you’re good to go! Personally, I find that this method gives me even better second-day hair than right after it dries – just apply a little dry shampoo, if needed, and a spritz or two of salt spray to rejuvenate your waves.

Second way: Three Barrel Curly Irons-
Using one of these wavers is super easy – all you do is separate your dry hair into sections, spraying your heat protectant as you go, and (starting closer to your roots) clamp down and hold for a few seconds, move down that section of hair, and repeat. Finish with a holding spray, and you’re all done! It’s super easy and pretty quick (depending on how much hair you have) Maybe try either of these two, the "Gold 'N Hot Jumbo Three Barrel Curling Iron" (right) Or the "Revlon Perfect Heat 3-Barrel Curling Iron" (left)

New York Fashion Week

Every year we all get excited for New York Fashion Week! And today I looked over a few runway shows and found the one I liked the best! I chose Marc Jacobs, his show was FANTASTIC! The approach was highly entertaining. Just watch as the girls get up one by one out of their poses and walk down the runway. I have never seen this done before and I loved it! The collection brought some very new and interesting pieces.w To my surprise there were no super bright colors like other designers are going for, they are all sort of muted tones. There were a lot of dresses but not very many separates but I didn't really mind because all the garments were beautiful and very creative! He seemed to bring the "spring color" in through in the accessories. I also loved how all of the models wore socks or stockings with their heels to keep it all uniform! He also kept the hair and makeup uniform to bring the whole thing together. The one thing that I did not like was the music.. it was very droll and repetitive to me. But another thing I did like was the fact that the models were so diverse. I hate seeing essentially the same ole girl walking down the runway 100 times. Over all I have seldom bad things to say about this show. The link is below, so watch it and tell us how you feel!

Tantalizing Tangerine!

Tangerine... kind of an odd color, right? Maybe before, but not now! Tangerine has really become one of our new favorite colors for the upcoming season. With tangerine you have so many different options for pops of color or main statement pieces, the possibilities are endless. One day try wearing a flirty tangerine cocktail ring for a simple pop of color, or a boho-chic tangerine maxi skirt for a statement piece. We hope you try to add a little tangerine to your wardrobe!

We love this maxi skirt because it adds a chic twist
to this simple outfit!

This cocktail ring would add simple elegance to
any outfit.
