Ombre Hair

This is a particular hairstyle that we just LOVE! I think it works best with blond and brown hair, and looks effortless and very chic. It's a simple hairstyle that basically goes from dark at the roots to light at the tips. When you decide to try this style, go to your stylist and ask for "ombre hair" and also do some research and bring a picture too. Fashion Star

So tonight I watched the new show "Fashion Star". I absolutely LOVE this show. It is about a number of designers that compete against one another to sell their product's too fashion designers.  Their are three differnt fashion buyers Macy's, H&M (A tridelta fav.) and Sacs 5th Avenue. The designers make garments and have a fashion show, then the buyers decide which pieces they would like to buy. If and when they but a garment you can purchase it in stores the very next day! In this episode there are so many cute and trendy things. I loved the red cape tie dress that Sacs bought. It was a must have for me! I think it is incredible that I can go out and buy it tomorrow in stores, or even online tonight! I just love the whole concept of the show, I really enjoyed it! So catch it next Sunday at 10pm on style.

Fishtail Braids

We want to share with you a hairstyle that we love for spring and summer! It is such a perfect look for a flirty sun dress, or a maxi dress. Once you know how to do this braid you'll want to wear your hair like this everyday! Everyone can do this and in our opinion looks especially great for people with curly hair! You can do this braid in two ways, messy or more constructed. So here are the steps to a fishtail braid!

1) Gather your hair into a ponytail and tie with a clear elastic.
2) Separate ponytail into two sections.
3) Start by bring a piece of hair from one section and crossing it over to the other section (the bigger the piece of hair the messier the braid, and the smaller the piece of hair the more constructed your braid will become).
4) Continue step 3 until you get to the end of your hair and tie with another clear elastic.
5) If you want your braid to look even messier you can pull on the sections of braid to mess it up some, then if you don't want the elastic at the top of your hair to show you can cut it out with a pair of scissors. *Be careful not to cut your hair!
