2 Ways to Get Beach Hair Without Hitting the Beach!

john masters organics Sea Mist Sea Salt Spray With Lavender

            john masters organics

Sea Mist Sea Salt Spray With Lavender
First way: Salt spray-
Using salt spray to create waves is pretty simple. You’ll have to experiment to find the method that works best for your hair, but you should spray a little (seriously – less is more, especially for girls who already have super thick hair) onto wet or damp hair, and then cup some ends in your hand and scrunch up to your roots. Either let it air dry or use a diffuser, and you’re good to go! Personally, I find that this method gives me even better second-day hair than right after it dries – just apply a little dry shampoo, if needed, and a spritz or two of salt spray to rejuvenate your waves.
Aquage Sea Salt Texturizing Salt Spray

Aquage Sea Salt Texturizing Salt Spray

Second way: Three Barrel Curly Irons-
Using one of these wavers is super easy – all you do is separate your dry hair into sections, spraying your heat protectant as you go, and (starting closer to your roots) clamp down and hold for a few seconds, move down that section of hair, and repeat. Finish with a holding spray, and you’re all done! It’s super easy and pretty quick (depending on how much hair you have) Maybe try either of these two, the "Gold 'N Hot Jumbo Three Barrel Curling Iron" (right) Or the "Revlon Perfect Heat 3-Barrel Curling Iron" (left)

New York Fashion Week

Every year we all get excited for New York Fashion Week! And today I looked over a few runway shows and found the one I liked the best! I chose Marc Jacobs, his show was FANTASTIC! The approach was highly entertaining. Just watch as the girls get up one by one out of their poses and walk down the runway. I have never seen this done before and I loved it! The collection brought some very new and interesting pieces.w To my surprise there were no super bright colors like other designers are going for, they are all sort of muted tones. There were a lot of dresses but not very many separates but I didn't really mind because all the garments were beautiful and very creative! He seemed to bring the "spring color" in through in the accessories. I also loved how all of the models wore socks or stockings with their heels to keep it all uniform! He also kept the hair and makeup uniform to bring the whole thing together. The one thing that I did not like was the music.. it was very droll and repetitive to me. But another thing I did like was the fact that the models were so diverse. I hate seeing essentially the same ole girl walking down the runway 100 times. Over all I have seldom bad things to say about this show. The link is below, so watch it and tell us how you feel!

Tantalizing Tangerine!

Tangerine... kind of an odd color, right? Maybe before, but not now! Tangerine has really become one of our new favorite colors for the upcoming season. With tangerine you have so many different options for pops of color or main statement pieces, the possibilities are endless. One day try wearing a flirty tangerine cocktail ring for a simple pop of color, or a boho-chic tangerine maxi skirt for a statement piece. We hope you try to add a little tangerine to your wardrobe!

Dramatic Winged Eyeliner

Are you looking for a new makeup idea, because your sick of your everyday look? Well we have the perfect look for you, dramatic winged eyeliner! We love this look because it gives you a sophisticated, elegant, classy, and fun look. In other words its very versatile. Whether you are going out to an event or to school, this look is great! Apply all of your regular makeup (including eye shadow if you want an even more dramatic look) Then use a great black liquid eyeliner, and start from the inside corner of your eye and work your way out. When you get to the outer corner wing your liner up and out, creating a winglike look. Apply mascara and you are good to go! We hope you try this look, don't be afraid to make it your own and let us know how it turns out!

High Ponytail

Hey guys, ever seen someone with a super cute high ponytail? Have you ever wondered how to do one? Its super easy yet this look comes off  very simple and elegant. It's great for everyday or a fun night painting the town. Slicking back the front of your hair with no part and shaping the ponytail to be about 10 finger lengths away from the top of your hair line. Tie up your hair and wrap a small piece of your hair around the ponytail holder to hide the color. Use hair spray (but don't go overboard) to tame the fly away's and make sure there are no blemishes in the back. You can pair up this hair do with a cute detailed blouse or a cute pair of low hung earrings. Try out this look and let us know how you changed it up and made it your own!

Super Bowl Half Time Show

Today was of course the day every american sits down to watch one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year; The Super Bowl. And this year Madonna (the queen of pop) had the pleasure of doing the half time show. Well we thought she was amazing and thought her outfit and hair was fantastic! We thought her black spartan warrior inspired dress was adorable and very age appropriate. We also loved her black thigh boots, they looked great on her, very flattering! On another note her hair was also very cute! It was sort of just soft tousled waves. It was simple and elegant, it complemented the outfit perfectly! If you would like to see Madonna yourself here's the link to watch the half time show:

Color Blocking

Hey everyone! We want to share with you all a trend that we absolutely love, color blocking! Color blocking is a reoccurring trend in fashion, and we can't wait to start wearing different color blocking pieces in the spring. While this trend can be done during any season, we are particularly excited for spring. This is such a versatile look that anyone can do it. So here are a few options for the upcoming season that we just love! We hope that you try this trend, and have fun with it! xoxo, tridelta

Camilla Belle looks great, the orange
jacket makes the look complete.

Designer Rachel Roy added a pop of color to her
outfit with red heels.

If you are unsure if you will like this trend
try a great pair of shoes, and work your way
to a whole look.

These are also a great option for a more
subtle look.
This is a very cute option for a spring
or summer day look.

Pink and red are a very classic color
blocking combo.

Eye Shadow Week: Green Eyes

Today is our day for green eyes. We think green eyes are beautiful and exotic. They are also far and few between.. And we as makeup loving girls are always trying to find new creative ways to make our eyes stand out! So here are some of the best colors that make your green eyes  pop. We think warm pink and  orange tones are the best for green eyes. Like this eye shadow dou for Clinque in sunburst.

The other eye shadow I recommend is Eye studio's Sapphire Siren  from Maybelline

Have fun with your green eyes and always try new things! Good luck.
